The 5th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in Southern Wisconsin, and is composed of parts of Milwaukee County, and Waukesha County.〔(District Map )〕 ==Current elected officials== Leah Vukmir is the senator serving the 5th district. She was elected in 2010 to a four-year term. Before serving as a senator, she held an office in the State Assembly, serving the 14th District from 2003 to 2011.〔(Vukmir Biography )〕 The area of the 5th Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts:〔(District Map )〕 * The 13th (represented by Rob Hutton) * The 14th (represented by Dale P. Kooyenga) * The 15th (represented by Joe Sanfelippo) The district is also located mostly within Wisconsin's 5th congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Jim Sensenbrenner.〔(Congressional District Map )〕
